In-form Rebecca O'Neill led off for the U15s and legs by Rachel Sadler and Eleanor Bounds ensured 3x800m gold in 7m 17.9s, defending the title that the squad, which had included Rebecca & Eleanor, won at Colchester last year. The young B team of Amanda Blaxland, Shannon Sullivan; Becky Stanley were eighth.

Two other teams gained podium places.

The Under 17 Men's squad of Terry Hughes, Charlie Moss, Jack Edgar-Hill. Jordan Brown took bronze in the 4x100m relay in 45.3s.

The second bronze was added by the U13 boys 3x800m relay squad of Freddy Keefe, Nick Duffey and Finbar Smyth who stopped the clock at  7m 34.5s.

Nick Duffey was drafted in at short notice to join Jordan Fox, Alex Law and George Perkins in the U13B sprint relay team which were edged out of the medals by a tenth of a second in fourth.

Elsewhere there were slim pickings as other squads ended up sixth, seventh or eighth.
