RESULTS

The throwers led the way as club athletes won at least eight medals at Day one of the Essex Champs at blustery Thurrock today. Georgie Taylor again threw beyond 30m to win gold in the U15 Girls discus, with Rachel Forder winning silver. Rachel added an U15 javelin silver and there was another javelin silver for Debbie Knight in the U17 event with Patsy McWeeney taking the bronze. Danny Wilson improved his discus PB to win bronze in the U17 discus. Lydia Hallam was the only track medallist winning bronze in the U15 Girls' 1500m. |
