The National Young Athletes League squad took their first big step towards regaining their Premier Division status with a big victory on home turf at Mayesbrook Park on Sunday. They ran out winners by almost 140 points, dominating four of the six age groups.

The impressive Freddy Keefe smashed his 800m PB and Jordan Fox won the B and the B long jump in PBs.

The Under 17 men also put in a powerhouse performance with five A wins, plus the relay and a dozen B string successes, with only three points dropped on the outfield. Laurence Goodacre had a hat trick of wins, adding the B javelin with a new best to his A shot & discus formalities, and Brad Burr partnered him with victories in the opposite strings.
