Although having only seven fit athletes - John Deacon ran with an injured ankle and Christian Newton arrived late on for the relays - all athletes performed marvelously with everyone completely exhausted by the end of the day

Former stalwarts Aron Bonning and Daren Keevil making a welcome return after two and a half years but the lack of track athletes again left us trailing in last position.

Arron showed he had retained his general fitness and all-round ability by competing in 8 events and was our only A event winner by clearing 3.00m in the pole vault.

There were many encouraging results despite the overall result with Andrew Tierney throwing PBs in both the Discus 33.72m and 28.48m in the hammer.
