Despite having only six athletes everyone performed marvelously and filled in wherever possible to eventually achieve 68 points and fourth place.
Steve Archer lead the way despite suffering from an injury to compete in all the throws winning both the A shot and A discus and was partnered by Darron Keevil who competed in seven events, winning the B shot and B discus. Additionally with Simon Parker competing in five events and everyone else doubling up plus Tony Collins running a PB in the 1500m the team achieved everything and more than what would realistically be expected from them.
With the bottom two teams relegated there is still everything to play for and providing all available athletes turn out for the team to ensure good results in our final two matches our league status should be secure.
