A strong senior team were in dominant form, notching up wins in 7 of the 8 track A string events, adding two B string track successes and wins in both relays. There were also eight field events victories, in a one-sided contest, as Divisional third placed Ashford and seventh placed Horsham were surprisingly weak. 

International Kate Brewington had a winning treble with hurdles, shot & long jump victories, and Mel Harrison matched Kate's feat with wins in the A discus and B Hammer & shot. There were double wins by Christina Kalejaiye (100 & 200m), Faye Fullerton (800m & 3000m - the latter in a new outdoor personal best), and individual wins were gained by Denise Harris & Robyn Matson with a 1500m A & B double, Lisa Schofield and Laura Moore, who set PBs in winning the B 100m and long jump respectively,  Sarah Deacon & Lynsey Clark, who won hammer A & discus B, Lauren Clark was an impressive 40m victor, while Ruth O'Sullivan's 3000m efforts earned her B string maximum points. Lynsey Clark, Schofield, Brewington & Kalejaiye combined for sprint relay victory, while Brewington, Denise Harris, Fullerton & Lauren Clark were runaway 4x400m relay winners. Clare Davies made a good club debut placing second in 800m B race. Katie O'Sullivan tackled four events and place 2nd in three of them and Jenny Szantai saw action in three events to complete the senior team.  Charlotte Owen raced in the u17 hurdles event for the first time, placing second & third, and also scored high jump points for the seniors.

The u15s were almost as dominant with ten wins. Frankie Calder starred with a sprint double and a long jump PB win, Nicola Hill added a hurdles & 100m double, while Rachel Kerr was victorious in the 200m B. The trio were joined by Louisa Wood in a winning 4x200m relay squad. 

Jennifer Holland had double delight with her 1500m & high jump B string double, and Bethan Siddons was jumping for joy with her A high jump & B long jump double.

Sam Hill stepped up an age group from the u13s to tackle the higher 75m hurdles and heavier shot & came out smiling with her 2nd & third places, and good field events points were added by Louisa Wood & Carla Schofield, and the team's good results were aided by middle distance performances from Jade Atkinson, Becky Owen  (800m) and Emma Fox (1500m).

The win puts the team - fifth before that fixture - back in the hunt for promotion and will be looking for a strong performance in the final match at Hastings in two weeks (3rd September) to reclaim their Division One status.
