The young athletes Under 13 & Under 15 team's third successive victory ensured promotion to the Southern Premier Division with one more fixture to go. They head the Division 1 North table by eight points and only have to turn up for the final match at Hendon next month to confirm their place.

Modupe Shokunbi 12.1s 100m in the Under 15 Girls category was not only the fastest in the UK this year but was also a new club U15 record while her winning 25.6s 200m clocking took her to second on the club all-time list.  Modupe also anchored the 4x100m relay time to victory combining with Tolu Akingbade, Annie Maguire & Holly Nash. Tolu & Annie had earlier been second in the shot & long jump. Freya Gutteridge & Riva Siggins took full points in the discus with A & B string wins and Freya also won the B hammer, and Emma Sharp won the javelin.

The Under 13 Girls bounced back with eight wins. There was a clean sweep in the 800m & 1200m as Rebecca Brown & Kate O'Neil (800m) and Katie Mitchell & Molly Bath (1200m) took full points. Mayi Hughes won the high jump in a new PB - with Elizabeth Adams taking a share of first place points in the B, and Mayi also improved her previous best to win the B 70m hurdles and was second in the javelin. Rebecca Brown won the B shot and there were second places for Isabella Purdie (70m hurdles) and Katie Mitchell (B 150m) before Hollie King joined Isabella, Rebecca & Mayi in the sprint relay quartet who finished runners up.

The Under 15 Boys were rewarded  for their efforts with an improved performance which yielded five victories. Ben Ellis won the 800m in style and smashed his 200m best for runners up spot.  John Nelson came out on top in the javelin and also added a B string discus victory and another throws win came from Harvey Addison in the B javelin while Kieran Riddell's hurdles PB earned him second spot. But the highlight came in the final event the 4x300m relay where the foursome of Matt Owers, Olla Obaye, Morgan Seaman & Ben Ellis smashed the previous club best time in this recently introduced event.

There were two wins for the Under 13 boys with Max Law winning the javelin and Jairzinho Morris taking the B long jump as well as placing second in the 200m while Harvey Jolliffe's hurdles PB placed him second and he was third in the long jump.  Also third were Sam Mezoori B 200m), Oliver Swift (shot) and the 4x100m squad of Aaron Freshwater, Harvey Jolliffe, Sam Mezoori,  Max Law.
