Third place at Sunday's Youth Development League match at Walthamstow on Sunday ensures runners up spot in the table & another season in Division 1 North for the Under 17 & Under 20 squad.

Josh Olawore recorded a quartet of wins in the Under 20 Men's competition, comfortably winning both sprints, the long jump and javelin, the latter in a new PB, and Alex Law added a hat trick of B string victories in 200m, long jump & javelin.  Karl Tucker added a B shot win to 100m, & both hurdles placings and John Adekoya placed second in the triple jump, high jump & Discus. Josh. Alex, Karl & John combined for a winning sprint relay foursome.  Sydney Conteh improved his 400m best in winning the B race and Ed Thompson made up for the cancellation of the pole vault with points in the 400m &  hammer & anchored the 4x400m squad of Conteh & under 17s Matthew Owers & Matthew Braybrook to second. Under 17s Elliott Addison (triple jump), Ed Brinton Quinn (hammer) & Seb Fisher (discus) all added runners up spots.

The Under 20 Women scored well with four individual victories and a relay win. Tayla Humm set a new PB in winning the 200m after placing second in the 100m and Bella Woods set new career marks in winning both 800m & steeplechase, and Lydia Hallam also ran faster than before for 1500m victory.  Tayla, Bella &Lydia were joined by Georgie Taylor in the winning 4x400m quartet   Georgie had had to settle for runners up places in her shot & discus events. More second place points came from Lucy Allen (200m B) & Mercy Gutteridge (long jump B), while Under 17s  Georgia Woodburn & Louise Lear were both second with javelin PBs, and Nina Olatunbosun was third in the B 100m. 

Sonny Nash's winning throws triple with victories in the javelin, hammer & shot were the Under 17 Men's highlights, backed up by numerous PBs & runners up spots. Lewis Bailey equalled his 200m PB in second and was third in the 100m, with Fraser Boston second in the B 100m (=PB), third in the 200m (PB) & triple jump. Bradley West was second in the B 800m in a new best as Finn Hutton set new marks in the A, while James Stewart set a new PB in placing second in the 1500m B. More PBs were set by Matt Owers (both hurdles), Zak Mezoori (discus) & Ed Brinton-Quinn (non scoring discus)

Modupe Shokunbi was pushed all the way in winning both sprints in the Under 17 Women's competition and there were four more individual wins. Heidi Surman-Wels recorded a season's best on the way to her fine 800m victory and added 300m & long jump points. Lucy Bailey won the 80m hurdles despite clattering the last barrier & improved her high jump best, while Ella Lindsay & Alice Martin added two more field events wins. Ella Jolly set PBs in both 800m & 300m on her league debut, and second place points went to Amy Baggs (1500m) & Freya Gutteridge (discus). Louise Lear added triple jump & 200m points before joining Ella (Lindsay), Heidi & Amy in the winning 4x300m quartet.
