Crystal Palace Indoor Sprints and Hurdles, 2 December 2000
| A sub-10 seconds clocking for 60m hurdles by
Danielle Ross, making her indoor
debut, and a fast 60m sprint by Nicola Schofield were the highlights as a foursome of HMAC young ladies competed
in the first round of the Indoor Sprints and Hurdles Series at Crystal
Palace on Saturday.
In the 60m sprint races in the morning Nicola blazed to a 8.3 secs clocking to finish fastest of the HMAC under 15 girls' trio, completed by Danielle Ross and Caroline Smith. In the afternoon hurdles races Danielle turned the tables running a good 9.9 secs ahead of Nicola's 10.1 secs PB of 10.1. Caroline ran well to clock 10.6 secs to win her heat. In the u17 event Nina Brennan twice equalled her best of 10.5 secs. |
